Church Partners

Range of Pastoral Care Services

Worship Services and Bible Study
Weekly worship services and Bible study are offered in most older adult retirement communities. In addition, local ministers from a variety of denominations lead services for residents.

Individual Visits and other services
Individual visits with residents and program participants provide a special time to get to know one another.  You can feel confident that each chaplain will keep all communications in the utmost confidence.

What do Chaplains Provide?

  • Christian Cares’ chaplains act as advocates for the individuals we serve, often acting as liaison between those served, their families, and the Christian Care organization.  They can help clarify policies, offer advice on what to expect next, and offer connections to additional resources.

  • Care for the caregivers--  Caring for a loved one is difficult under any circumstances.  It is especially hard when they can no longer make their own medical decisions.  Christian Cares’ chaplains can help families sort through the maze of ethical and emotional dilemmas in front of them to develop the best course of care for their loved one.

  • Connect Christian Care Communities with other religious organizations—Our chaplains build bridges between the facilities they serve and other religious organizations in the community.  These organizations then offer volunteers and resources, and our chaplains often provide back up resources to these churches, too.  Christian Care serves individuals of all races and denominations. While our organization is grounded in Christian principles, our chaplains are trained to work sensitively with individuals from all faiths.
