Older Adults Programs
Bowling Green: Village Manor

The beauty of rural Warren County and the conveniences of urban Bowling Green lend Village Manor the best of both worlds.  Southern elegance and traditional English Tudor architecture create a community setting unlike any other.  A gracious style of living, a safe secure environment, friendly neighbors and newfound freedom from the responsibilities of home and property maintenance are what you will find at Village Manor.

When residents enter Village Manor, they choose their unit and pay for it, much like buying a home or condominium.  Residents are also responsible for a reasonable monthly maintenance fee that covers items like maintenance of the grounds, security, trash removal and the like.

Our residents can enjoy all the benefits of campus living, including our dining room, exercise room, a beautiful courtyard and gazebo, planned activities and numerous other amenities.  More than just a place to live, Village Manor is a true community where active, interesting older adults can live life to the fullest.  You’ll find the convenience and companionship you’ve been looking for at Village Manor.

Application Procedures

Establishing Your Right of Residency
As you consider a move to our community, please note that your entrance fee pays for your exclusive right to reside in the home. Your right of residency is secured through a contractual agreement, and the deed is retained by Christian Care Communities. Therefore, you pay no property taxes and avoid the burden of reselling your home. The entrance fee is determined by the floor plan that you select.

Refund Policy
If you leave your home for any reason, at least 70% of your entrance fee is returned. The actual amount depends upon the length of time you have been a resident.

How We Calculate Your Refund
The refund amount is the entrance fee reduced by 2% for each month of residency for up to 15 months. The reduction of the refund freezes after the 15th month, so you always retain at least 70% of your entrance fee---no matter how many years you live in the home.

Deposit
A deposit is required at the time the contract is signed. Your deposit is subtracted from the total of your entrance fee, so you pay the balance according to the terms of your contract.

Service Fee
This monthly fee covers:

  • Interior/appliance and exterior maintenance
  • 24-hour personal security systems
  • Insurance on the building
  • Smoke alarm systems
  • Garbage removal
  • Chaplaincy services
  • Various community amenities
