Application Procedures
How Our Rates Are Calculated
Christian Care Communities is committed to offering affordable housing options to older adults, regardless of ability to pay. Most of our residents receive federal rent subsidies from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, ensuring that they pay no more for rent than a percentage of their monthly income after medical expenses.

Apartment Availabilities & Waiting Lists
The availability of apartments varies according to the type of apartment desired and whether there are any current vacant apartments.
Once an applicant has been advised of an available apartment and he/she is ready to move, we will then complete a criminal reference check and look into the applicant’s landlord history for the last two years.
When these checks are returned satisfactorily, final approval may take three to four weeks for potential residents who qualify for rent subsidy assistance,.
In the event that there is no appropriate apartment available, you will be placed on a waiting list and notified of openings in the order in which you applied.
